Too Cute

I knitted the cutest booties to go with the sweater I made for Debi's baby Kiera. I saw them on ravelry and simply couldn't help myself. They are pretty easy, although I couldn't quite figure out how it all came together until the very end when I began the straps. Once I reached that point a little light came on. As a bonus I have just enough yarn left to knit a cap, which I started last night.

Here is the pic and the details:
Pattern: Saartje's Booties
Yarn: Rowan Wool Cotton
Needles: size 4
Time: 4 hours total over 5 days

Those are so precious!!! Have you ever tried crocheting? I crochet (not often, though. short attention span), but am interested in knitting. I want to know how they compare as far as ease, goes.

I love seeing all the beautiful things you make!

I've crocheted a little and finished one project (a purse). I think that crochet goes a little quicker but tends to require more yarn. But I'm glad I can do both because that way I can just find patterns that I like without worrying so much about whether they were knit or crochet!

That little girl is going to be a fashion model. With a sweater, booties, and a hat that all coordinate. Those little booties are so cute. When are you going to get started on all the sweaters and booties for Spot? I hope Spot is doing well.

Those are adorable. I tried knitting once a few years ago. I didn't like it as much as crochet, but maybe I'll try it again.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

I LOVE THOSE BOOTIES! I saw them on ravelry too, but am afraid I can't do it. I can do it right? Half the time, I don't even know what certain instructions mean... hmm.

And I love thin mints. :)
