lazy

I had a very lazy weekend. I'd say it was lazy with a capital 'L', but I'm afraid my slothfulness extended even to punctuation. I ventured out of the house a couple of times for lunches and grocery shopping. But while I was in the house nothing much got done unless napping and watching TV counts. I really need to get myself out of this lazy slump, because otherwise I might not know how to handle everything if/when a baby arrives in 31 weeks. But then again, I probably won't be able to find the baby because by then my house will have reached new heights in terms of messiness.

I did finish the last element of the ensemble for Debi's baby, which was a hat. It does not follow any specific pattern, but I incorporated the pattern stitch from the sweater I made. I'm a little concerned that it is too small relative to the sweater but oh well. I'm pretty sure that at one time or another the baby will fit the hat, sweater and booties even if it is not all at the same time.

This afternoon is the first half of my first OB appointment. I get an ultrasound and meet with the nurse today. On Thursday I'll meet with the doc. So provided everything goes well, hopefully there will be another picture to share of Spot by tomorrow.
