Fun in the Snow

I've decided that if all I had between now and my ultrasound were weekends, that the time would fly by much faster. It is just so much easier to endure the wait when you are having fun. And while I like my job well enough, the rest of life is just so much more enjoyable. This weekend was definitely good as I learned how to knit the second sleeve on the baby sweater, I went to Jaime's party where I watched the Patriots the lose the Super Bowl (woohoo!), and Jeramy was away from home long enough Saturday to allow me to watch not one but two Jane Austen movies. But definitely one of the funnest parts of the weekend was our trip into the mountains this morning to play in the snow. We met up with friends for breakfast and then we all headed out to Greenwater. Here are the pics of our fun:

Jeramy throwing a snowball

Ryan trying to figure out why his 4-year-old logic of getting to throw snowballs without having them thrown at him is not working out

William at one with the snow.

A snowball fight action shot. I think it's Aaron taking a shot from Jeramy.

Want a little more snow there Bob?

This isn't a very high quality photo, but I just love the expression captured on Brian's face. He takes his snowball fights quite seriously.

The truck with the new tires and rims Jeramy had put on Friday. It almost feels like a new truck they look so good.

Oh Looks like so much fun. I wish I could I could have been there. I love playing in the snow. (I thought you were ready for winter to be over.) It sounds like you had a really nice weekend. I was pulling for the Giants too. The last part of the game was especially exciting.

OK-FIRST and FOREMOST: GO ELI! I was so happy the stinking Patriots got it handed to them. =) This is a sign of good things to come in the world!
Secondly, this weather looks awesome! So foreign to my little Texas heart, what fun!!

Looks like a fun time had by all! I know what you mean about weekends flying by!

I love Jane Austen movies. Luckily Cole does too!

Oooh... Jane Austen, my favorite! I made DH promise me a long time ago that if I got pregnant, when I'm all huge and uncomfortable and can't get off the couch, that he will watch the entire 8-hour BBC version of "Pride & Prejudice" with me. I totally have a thing for Mr. Darcy. Which reminds me... it's just about time for him to make good on that promise!!

The snow looks like so much fun! I generally like the Patriots, but this time, I was kinda happy to see them win. Exciting game! My hubby also will go to Jane Austen movies with me, but I make him watch most action movies on his own. Not very fair, huh? :)

Hey Jen, thanks for your comment on my blog. To clarify, I didn't have a trigger shot. The OPK is the only thing I am using here. Oh well, it turned positive this AM anyway, so I think we're OK as far as timing.
