What Not to Wear - Baby Edition

For the most part, I'd say that it is pretty hard to go wrong when it comes to dressing your baby no matter what your budget. Everything in every color, cut and style looks cute on Jillian. She never complains that something makes her butt look big. In truth, she is really too easy to shop for, as evidenced by my many trips to stores to purchase clothing for myself that instead result in even more clothing purchases for her. Because she really does need 100 onesies.

Of course when you have a stay-at-home dad arrangement, the "rules" of baby fashion are often forgotten. And when that happens, I often come home to find this:

I seriously laughed out loud at work! I have DH dress LO every morning and I dont see what he wears until I drop him off at daycare, and just the other morning I looked at B's outfit, laughed and said "Stacy and Clintion are going ot come ambush you if you keep dressing like this!".
But luckly they look so cute even in mis-matched clothes.

Yeah, she could wear a paper bag and look amazing, but isn't it funny how daddies dress 'em!?

Thanks for the support on the scheduled c-section thing. I honestly don't feel too badly about it, but I am used to taking some heat from this decision (everyone from my mom to strangers on the street who think it's their business). I just have to keep telling myself that we are doing the best for OUR baby and OUR family and on the advice of my doctor. Our birth stories sound pretty similar, and I really don't want to go down that road again!

Ha ha ha -- oh my. My mom still teases my dad for dressing me up in completely mismatching clothes when he took me to see the Easter Bunny in 1982. (She was in the hospital after delivering my brother.)

BTW, I went back and gave you a shout-out for the crib sheets -- I haven't written the thank you notes yet (I'm know, I'm *so* lazy) and I didn't remember off the top of my head they were from you. I am so excited about them, they were one of my top wish-list items after reading what other mamas said about them online!
