I'm a big believer in letting Jillian learn to do things herself. This includes figuring out how to get on and off her new chair.
Please note the blankets strategically placed to soften the blow...no tears were involved. Within 24 hours of this she learned how to back herself off the chair.

lmao -- oh how cute!
No, not a bad mom at all. Sometimes I have to stop myself from helping my son too much, I don't want him to think that he can't handle things on his own. Great job letting her learn!
OH MY GOD!! LMAO!!!
I'm laughing so hard I've got tears rolling down my cheeks and I almost shook the sleeping baby off my lap! That is freaking hilarious!!! Great pics:)
And no...that does not make you a bad mom. You put blankets down for her:)
I heartily approve. No faster way for her to learn!
I LOVE these shots! You are not a bad mom at all- you ~do~ have the blankets there for her!
I'm on your side. If she didn't figure out the best way to get off a chair now, she might be 20 years old and still pitching herself forward out of furniture!!
Besides - you gave her a cushion!!
Sometimes you just gotta let them figure things out for themselves - and look, she figured it out! You're a great mom!!!
You are awesome. I was just looking at the crazy pictures I take of my kids instead of helping them out. :)
HAH!
Love it.
ROFL - that's so my plan too! I have to let him fall for him to learn. Sometimes, that's going to kill me, but if I coddle him too much, how will he ever figure shit out?
